Margret "Maggie" Leventhal
President
Maggie is a serial entrepreneur who has worked in sales, marketing, management, product management and product development. It was while working as a Consulting VP of Sales and Marketing for the biotechnology company, Investigen Inc., that she co-invented the smartSpatula® and brought it to market for Investigen. In 2008, Maggie licensed the smartSpatula from Investigen and formed LevGo with Kent McCue. Maggie has an undergraduate degree from UCLA and Georg August Universität, Goettingen.
Kent McCue, PhD
Co-Founder, Scientific Advisor
Kent is a full time Research Geneticist with the USDA Agricultural Research Service’s (ARS) Crop Improvement and Utilization Research Unit at the Western Regional Research Center (WRRC) in Albany, California. Kent received an A.B. in Biology from Harvard College, a Ph.D. in the Plant Physiology Group from UC Davis, and a Certificate of Business Administration from UC Berkeley Extension.
Heather Koshinsky, PhD
Vice President of Inovation
Heather is apparently the only adult currently working at LevGo. She joined LevGo in 2022 and has led the development of several new products. Heather is also the co-inventor of the smartSpatula.
A co-founder of successful companies and Senior Director at mid and large companies, Heather has experience and perspective in startups, mid and large companies in all aspects of a business; creation, corporate, lab set up, documentation, safety, regulatory, intellectual property, human resources, business development, legal, transactional, board participation, product development, product launch, marketing, sales, finance, fundraising, investor relations, service, manufacturing, collaborations and licensing and selling a company.
Heather holds a PhD in Applied Microbiology from the University of Saskatchewan and Certificates in Business Administration, in Marketing, and in Digital Marketing from UC Berkeley Extension. She is a member of the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Board and is a named Alumus of Influence.

We welcome and will compensate you for your ideas! We are currently working with several "inventors" - lab techs and scientists who have come up with clever ideas for new smartTools. We work together with the inventor to flesh out the idea, protect the design, manufacture and bring the product to market.
